Alberta Premier Danielle Smith says she distrusts World Economic Forum, province to cut ties. Plus, Municipal election results.
Smith said she won't deal with the agency until they stop 'bragging' about their control over politicians. This helps Ukrainians in their War against Russia tremendously. And some other good news.
Have you heard the news ? -
Just a week after I’ve posted My Blueprint on what can we do to help stop Russian aggression in Ukraine, which includes, among its 9 pillars, the recommendation to “reconsider the dependency of each country’s government on WEF agenda” or at least to “make such dependency transparent”, the new Alberta Premier Danielle Smith has announced that “she is cancelling a health consulting agreement involving the World Economic Forum because she doesn't trust the agency”!

Below are a few quotes from this article that well summarize the key shift in dynamics in Canada, as expressed by Premier Smith and CBC journalist.
The fact that this article is published by CBC is also worth highlighting - especially for those of you who stopped reading CBC or want it to be defunded. In my next issues, I’ll would like to draw some parallels between government-funded official broadcasters in Canada (CBC etc.) and their parallel counterparts in Russia (RT etc.). But here I just would simply like to thank them for being the first, from whom I’ve learn this - possibly, a major milestone - news for Canada.
Quotes from the article:
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith said she is cancelling a health consulting agreement involving the World Economic Forum — an agency at the centre of global domination conspiracy theories — because she won't work with a group that talks about controlling governments.
"I find it distasteful when billionaires brag about how much control they have over political leaders," Smith said at a news conference Monday after her new cabinet was sworn in.
"That is offensive…the people who should be directing government are the people who vote for them.
"Quite frankly, until that organization stops bragging about how much control they have over political leaders, I have no interest in being involved with them."
PS.
I could not find an actual video-stream of the Premier Smith with quotes listed above. I found however another one from UCP AGM 4 days ago (shown below), and found it equally very interesting - in particular, in how it presented Alberta aiming to defend its “freedom” from Ottawa, and using the same terminology (like “woke” ) in relationship to Ottawa policies, which I’ve heard recently here in Ottawa during the latest municipal election. Have a listen. And if you find the other video (where she talks about WEF), please let me know - I’d like to hear it too.
PPS.
…And then, we’ll also talk about the municipal elections that just happened in Ontario this week. Some really good news from there too. - Neither Catherine McKenney nor Mathieu Fleury, who have recently compromised themselves during the currently ongoing Emergency Act Inquiry (you can watch it here), did not go trough.
So, we may congratulate Ottawa and Vanier residents with electing new people for the City Hall who would show a higher level of integrity than those shown by their electoral rivalries.
This also proves that democracy still works in Canada. Maybe it is as perfect as some would wish it to be and is under the threat, but it is definitely still here, in stark contrast with Russia and some other countries.
