From Food To Freedom
Another documentary to watch, just released (available for free viewing this week only), from another newsletter I'm following, called 'The Need to Grow'
Full disclosure : I stopped eating meats in 2018 - it just felt good for my stomach and delicious too. Knowing that this also helps to save Amazon forests and reduce pollution of oceans and greenlands only further deepens the appreciation of such dietary choice, as does the knowledge that majority of so called Covid mortalities are also known to be linked to unhealthy food choices - the choices that are free and fully democratic. But no pressure on anyone - moderation and independent sources of knowledge go very well with any protest or liberation movement!

When people get diagnosed with disease, they’re often told they need to take medication for the rest of their lives.
But what happens when those medications don’t work? Is there anything they can do to reverse their disease naturally, without drugs?
In the award-winning documentary, From Food to Freedom, you’ll follow the incredible story of six people with their lives on the line who defy the modern medical system.

This mind-blowing documentary comes from filmmakers behind the hit movies Forks Over Knives and PlantPure Nation. They’re making this film available to watch for free because they want the world to know the truth about the power of food.
I'm happy to spread the word about the world premiere of this new film from the same partners that helped us release my film The Need To GROW. It will change the way you think about food forever.

FLASH FOREST: Using drone technology to drop seed pods out of the sky, Canadian start-up "Flash Forest" is replanting struggling forests and fire-damaged lands. “Our goal is to be the most biodiverse reforestation company,” one of the co-founders says.
DRINKING WATER: The EPA proposed new regulations and limits for "forever chemicals" found in drinking water, including PFOS and PFOA. Because these chemicals resist breakdown, they easily bioaccumulate in fish, wildlife animals, livestock, and the human body, and new studies are showing how certain levels of exposure have been linked to disease and adverse health effects.
P.S. I highly recommend you watch From Food To Freedom tonight. You could be eating foods that lead to disease without knowing it. It’s time we all get the facts to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Plus, it’s a great and riveting movie! Join in the world premiere while you can, right here.
Interesting.
Given that T2D is a dysfunction of carbohydrate metabolism and carbohydrate comes predominantly from plants and not from animals - there is some in milk as lactose - perhaps it is time to re-evaluate the eating of plants, as well as removing the pHarma drugs from our daily lives?
