News from Alberta

1. Alberta Premier Danielle Smith passed her leadership vote with 91.5 percent support at the UCP annual convention in Red Deer on Nov. 2. 2. All 35 policy resolutions tabled at the two-day party convention were adopted. Most resolutions passed with overwhelming support. Some of the resolutions voted on by members include: to keep female-only spaces such as washrooms and change rooms limited to biological females; prohibit exposure of minors to publicly funded “sexually explicit performances” in public venues; acknowledge that there are “only two biological sexes” and that all government documents should only list male and female as options for selection; that taxpayer funds not be used for gender-alteration surgeries. Members also voted to adopt a bill of parental rights, which, among others, ensures "the ultimate responsibility for a legally defined minor child’s health, education, and welfare lies with the parents or legal guardians by legislating to regulate the practice of subjectively ascribing children ‘Mature Minor’ status.” Other bills addressed merit-based hiring, reducing income tax, and that the government always provide a non-digital form of government ID be made available. On November 2, Alberta's ruling United Conservative Party approved a resolution stating, in part: “CO₂ is a nutrient foundational for all life on Earth...The earth needs more CO₂ to support life and to increase plant yields, both of which contribute to the Health and Prosperity of all Albertans.” The resolution recommended that the Government of Alberta should: Abandon Net Zero targets; Remove the designation of CO₂ as a pollutant; Recognize that CO₂ is a foundational nutrient for all life on Earth. - https://myemail.constantcontact.com/Alberta-Embraces-CO2-Coalition-Message.html

Political - the impact of Trump election on Big Pharma and Censorship

1. In a significant escalation of the ongoing investigation into the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has set a November 21st, 2024 deadline for the organization to produce critical communications related to their alleged platform manipulation activities and government collusion. 3. Vaccine makers saw stocks fall after President-elect Donald Trump announced that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. was his choice to lead the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). Kennedy Jr. has advocated against processed foods and the use of herbicides. He has long criticized large commercial farms and animal-feeding operations. But his stance on childhood vaccines is perhaps most notable. 4. Kennedy is intent on draining the swamp. “With President Trump’s backing, I am going to staff these agencies with honest scientists and doctors free from industry funding. We will make sure that the decisions of consumers, doctors, and patients are informed by unbiased science.” Kennedy has also called for a “review” of advertising rules for pharmaceutical companies and has urged Trump to ban pharmaceutical advertising on TV. 5. Robert Kennedy Jr. has announced that the Trump administration will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from tap water on day one. “On January 20, the Trump White House will advise all U.S​. water systems to remove fluoride from public water,” Kennedy wrote. “Fluoride is an industrial waste associated with arthritis, bone fractures, bone cancer, IQ loss, neurodevelopmental disorders, and thyroid disease.” Fluoridation is a dated practice that infringes on medical ethics by ignoring informed consent and lacks the rigorous scientific backing that its promoters claim makes it “safe and effective”. 6. Jillian Michaels responded to those individuals and organizations attacking the nomination of RFK Jr. as HHS Secretary. She wrote: “If you're afraid of RFK, . . . take a back seat. Let the professionals in this space handle it” She added: Infertility rates are the highest ever; Early-onset cancer diagnoses are up 79% over the last three decades; 74% of adults in America are overweight or obese; Health-related conditions are the number one cause of bankruptcy. Michaels says it is hard to be healthy in America because it is difficult “by design.”  “We need change. We need it now. 7. Dr. Richard E. Besser, CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and a former acting director of the CDC, said that having Kennedy head up HHS “would pose incredible risks to the health of the nation,” because Kennedy’s critique of the public health agencies was worsening the mistrust lingering after the coronavirus pandemic. Besser said that some of Kennedy’s ideas were deeply concerning — particularly Kennedy’s proposal that individuals should decide for themselves whether to take a vaccine. “The idea that receiving childhood vaccines would be a parental choice scares me,” he said. - https://x.com/CitizenFreePres/status/1857299375984198012

8. In 2001 elder statesman Tony Benn said the following in his farewell speech to the House of Commons in the UK: “In the course of my life I have developed five little democratic questions. If one meets a powerful person--Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin or Bill Gates--ask them five questions: What power have you got? Where did you get it from? In whose interests do you exercise it? To whom are you accountable? And how can we get rid of you? 9. Bluesky, a social media platform which is trying to recreate the progressive cancel culture of 2020 Twitter recently reported an increase of 3 million users since October, rising to 15 million total users in November. ( X has a reported user base of over 600 million). It didn’t take very long for the new arrivals to saturate the platform with censorship demands, post flagging and general complaints about other users. 10. Citizen Action - This week, ICAN, through its attorneys, submitted a powerful public comment to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) taking a strong stand against weather modification and geoengineering. Truth in MSM & Politics:

1. In a segment on Germany’s MSM Welt, the government was openly criticized and the unvaccinated were declared the winners during the COVID-19 pandemic. The segment, featuring columnist Hans-Ulrich Jörges, called for public apologies from key government officials who perpetuated the narrative that the pandemic was solely a “pandemic of the unvaccinated.” In a powerful call for accountability, Jörges named prominent figures who should come forward and apologize including all those who championed the phrase ‘pandemic of the unvaccinated.’ Jörges said: “I think they should now publicly apologize for it. 2. New data from the National Institutes of Health reveal the agency and its scientists collected $710 million in royalties during the pandemic, from late 2021 through 2023. These are payments made by pharmaceutical companies to license medical innovations from government scientists. Almost all that cash — $690 million — went to the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the sub-agency led by Dr. Anthony Fauci, and 260 of its scientists. 3. Kennedy's prediction at the beginning of Covid were bang on. He predicted the vaccine would be sold as 100% effective, then this would gradually be reduced. Also, that the shot would be sold that one shot would give life-long immunity. Then this too would be gradually softened until it would be declared that shots are needed yearly if not more often. 4. An article by Dr. Russell Blaylock published in Surgical Neurology International states: “The COVID-19 pandemic is one of the most manipulated infectious disease events in history, characterized by official lies in an unending stream lead by government bureaucracies, medical associations, medical boards, the media, and international agencies. We have witnessed a long list of unprecedented intrusions into medical practice, including attacks on medical experts, destruction of medical careers among doctors refusing to participate in killing their patients and a massive regimentation of health care, led by non-qualified individuals with enormous wealth, power and influence. 5. The new Dutch Minister of Health, Fleur Agema, admitted in their Parliamentary Chamber that Covid was a military operation. She said: “We must follow NATO, US and NCTV orders.” Agema said that pandemic preparedness is related to treaty obligations and that the intelligence service (NCTV) is in charge. The news from Agema fits with what Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has repeatedly stated about the production of the coronavirus vaccines in the US. According to him, this was a military operation, with close involvement of the US Department of Defense and the military-industrial complex. Defense, according to Kennedy, was in full charge and paid pharmaceutical companies for their brand names, so people would think they were getting something from Pfizer or Moderna. - https://substack.com/home/post/p-151242856

6. Vaccine Choice Canada has launched a new ‘Safe and Effective’ social media Campaign. The video shows products from the past that were declared “safe and effective” including asbestos, fluoride, DDT, Vioxx and baby powder. The closing message in the video is - “It’s all safe and effective until is isn’t.” -

Legal

1. A woman fired by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for refusing the COVID-19 vaccination has been awarded more than $12 million in damages. A jury awarded Lisa Domski $10 million in punitive damages, $1 million in non-economic damages, $1.375 million in front pay damages, and $315,000 in back pay damages. Jurors said that Blue Cross Blue Shield illegally discriminated against Domski when the company denied her request for an exemption from its policy requiring COVID-19 vaccination. The jury found the company also illegally terminated Domski over the lack of COVID-19 vaccination. According to Domski’s attorneys, because she worked from home, the company could have accommodated her safely. They said Blue Cross Blue Shield also denied more than 500 other religious accommodation requests and fired hundreds of employees in addition to Domski over vaccine refusal. Blue Cross Blue Shield said it did not discriminate against Domski and said her religious beliefs were not sincere. The jury saw it different. 2. Louisiana’s U.S. District Court has ruled in favor of the State of Missouri, allowing additional discovery in the Missouri v. Biden lawsuit, which scrutinizes government collaboration in social media censorship. Initial findings from the limited discovery available at the preliminary injunction stage revealed an extensive network of censorship involving more than a dozen agencies and over a hundred government officials, possibly implicating many more yet uncovered. These agencies were reportedly directed by the White House to manipulate social media content, particularly contradicting the federal government’s stances on issues from COVID-19 to electoral processes. 3. The FLCCC Alliance announced that its co-founders, Dr. Pierre Kory and Dr. Paul Marik, are seeking to join the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons’ federal lawsuit against the American Board of Internal Medicine and other board-certifying organizations as well as the Biden Administration. This lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court in Galveston, TX, seeks to hold accountable entities that have not only censored but retaliated against physicians for advocating evidence-based approaches to patient care that are contrary to public health agency directives. The lawsuit contends that board-certifying organizations, including the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Family Medicine, and the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology, have acted in concert together and with the federal government to suppress and retaliate against physicians with dissenting viewpoints, thus infringing upon First Amendment rights. The case against ABIM and its co-defendants was originally dismissed by the District Court but was reinstated by the Fifth Circuit in its opinion that expressed strong concern about the suppression of medical viewpoints. -

Lawyers with the Democracy Fund have achieved a significant legal victory, successfully reopening six additional Quarantine Act tickets issued to members of an Amish community in Grey County Ontario. One of the most alarming cases involved the posthumous conviction of a married Amish man. Not only did the government obtain a conviction after his death, but a lien was placed on the marital property, compounding the family’s grief and financial burden. TDF's legal team successfully reopened this ticket, along with the ticket issued to his wife. The TDF’s legal team has been successful in ensuring that, to date, all Quarantine Act-related liens registered on their clients' property are removed. 5. Also due to the work of the Democracy Fund, charges have been withdrawn against St. Catharines resident Terri Haydar, for gathering in public in 2021. Terri Haydar, a retired correctional officer, and founder of Mama Bears, was charged for attending a peaceful protest in April 2021 under COVID-19 legal restrictions. With The Democracy Fund's legal help, she has had all charges withdrawn. TDF Lawyers maintained that Haydar's case should not be pursued due to a lack of public interest. Last week, the Crown agreed. 6. Back in 2020, ICAN sued NIH to get access to his emails during the pandemic and won. They’ve been reviewing the emails as batches come in. The latest batch contains a very interesting email in which an official with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation introduces Graham at NIH to the CEO of BioNTech on February 2, 2020, stating, “I wanted to take a moment to introduce you to each other regarding 2019-nCoV.” In response, Graham says, “Thank you for your interest in our antigen design effort for CoV vaccines,” and the two immediately set up a phone call. These emails occurred just 13 days after the first case of SARS-CoV-2 was found in the U.S. and over a month before the WHO declared a pandemic. 7. For the second time, Fanshawe College in London, Ontario, has been ordered to compensate an employee placed on unpaid leave under its COVID-19 vaccine mandate. In the latest case, Arbitrator Norman Jesin ruled in favour of Michael Kennelly, a professor at Fanshawe’s London Campus, who challenged the college’s refusal to grant him a religious exemption from its vaccine policy. The Ontario Public Service Employees Union represented Kennelly and contended that the college’s refusal violated his rights under both the Ontario Human Rights Code and the terms of his employment contract. Jesin’s decision includes a declaration that Kennelly’s rights were infringed, entitling him to compensation for the time he was on unpaid leave. This compensation will cover lost earnings, seniority, service credits, and any other benefits he would have accumulated had he remained employed. 
   
   In a related decision back in February 2024, Arbitrator Larry Steinberg ruled in favour of Andrew Wing, a Fanshawe College professor who was placed on unpaid leave despite working entirely remotely. Steinberg ruled that Fanshawe’s enforcement of its vaccine policy was “not reasonable” given Wing’s fully remote position.-

2. Rath & Company, the law firm representing Alberta business owners in a class action lawsuit against the Alberta government over COVID-19 restrictions, has cleared a crucial legal hurdle. Justice Colin C.J. Feasby of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta certified the case, allowing it to proceed as a class action. The lawsuit, led by plaintiffs Rebecca Ingram and Christopher Scott, challenges the authority of Alberta’s government in implementing business restrictions through Chief Medical Officer of Health orders, which the plaintiffs allege were unauthorized and illegally imposed. The class action seeks compensation on behalf of a broad group of Alberta business owners, claiming that the health orders, issued ostensibly under public health directives, resulted in devastating financial losses.  The court confirmed that the lawsuit can proceed on multiple claims, including negligence, bad faith, and misfeasance in public office. -

3. A federal court ruled Monday that a lawsuit filed by a woman injured by AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine during a U.S. clinical trial can continue. The court rejected the drugmaker’s claim that a federal liability shield protects it from breach-of-contract claims. Brianne Dressen sued AstraZeneca in May, alleging she was injured and became disabled by the company’s vaccine in 2020 when she participated in the company’s clinical trial. According to the complaint, AstraZeneca’s consent form for trial participants promised enrolees medical treatment in the event of illness or injury suffered during the study. In its motion to dismiss, filed in June, AstraZeneca said that under the PREP Act of 2005 — which grants manufacturers of emergency countermeasures such as COVID-19 vaccines immunity from legal liability — Dressen could not sue the vaccine maker for her injuries. But in his Nov. 4 ruling, Chief Judge Robert J. Shelby of the U.S. District Court in Utah said the PREP Act’s liability shield does not extend to breach-of-contract claims.
