Legal decision : A Canadian judge has rejected a complaint against maskless workplaces as frivolous.
Federal Court Justice Benoit Duchesne ruled that Nicolas Juzda’s complaint of feeling ‘unsafe’ following the end of mask mandates in federal workplaces was unreasonable. Juzda is a Elections Canada manager. After the mandate had lifted, Juzda, a “fully vaccinated” individual without any particular health issues, complained that he felt unsafe in the Gatineau headquarters. “I must excuse my right to refuse work that constitutes a danger,” he wrote, referencing the Canada Labor Code that allows federally regulated staff to refuse work “that constitutes a danger to the employee.” His complaint was quickly dismissed as “frivolous” by executives, a move which Justice Duchesne agreed with, calling Juzda’s concerns unwarranted. Marking a 3-year anniversary of Freedom Convoy in Ottawa: New aerial footage not previously seen.
It was the coldest winter in twenty years in Ottawa then (-25 C), which did not stop thousands of concerned Canadians from all over Canada to come to Ottawa to express their concerns with Vaccination Mandates that traumatized many Canadian families and brought much hatred to many others. For me, it remains one of my fondest memories—meeting and talking to so many people, witnessing countless smiles, and feeling a shared sense of joy and unity. It was a stark contrast to the masks and pervasive fear that had blanketed the country before they arrived in Ottawa.
Part 2: There south of the border
The January 20, 2025, WHO Executive Order (EO) opens with Trump reminding the WHO (and the world) that he had signed an EO in July of 2020 withdrawing the United Stats from the WHO due to their “mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, and other global health crises, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states.”
Trump’s EO also orders that Biden’s 2024 U.S. Global Health Security Strategy be rescinded and replaced as soon as practicable (which included pandemic preparedness funding to foreign nations).
