In FB, you can still post images with news articles (converting images to text is not easy for them, but also.. For readers too). What you can do is have a link to your substack or any other page where you could then include a link to the news source which you originally wanted to post in Facebook
I'm finding information sharing is very controlled even if you are able to share whatever you want. Pretty sure it's related to people opting into options or settings/programs to "protect" them from content that challenges the narrative. I still post, but starting to feel the only way some people can actually see all my posts is if they went direct to my timeline.

I put important links that could be blocked in comment section instead and seems to work better.
