Ottawa Public Health continues recommending COVID-19 vaccines to children, while Ontario man files $35.6 million lawsuit against Pfizer over son’s vaccine death. What you should do. And what they did.
Today I've posted the following post on my children's school parent support FB group
“
Hello folks,
You all received the letter from Ottawa Public Health informing you that “all children going to school need to be vaccinated against certain diseases.”As many parents of our school know (esp. those who are with our school for many years) this statement is actually misleading. It is written in such a way as to imply that you have no choice but to get your child vaccinated in order to attend the school. This however is not the case.
You simply need to go to www.forms.ssb.gov.on.ca, fill out the ‘Statement of Conscience or Religious Belief’ form, get it signed in front of a notary at the City Hall (at no cost for vaccination exemptions) and then return it to the school. See this link for more details.
I also found the following statements in the letter misleading:
The flu vaccine is an important vaccine for children. The flu can make children very sick and even lead to serious illness.
Getting your vaccines this fall, like your annual flu vaccine and the updated COVID-19 vaccine, is the best way to protect yourself and your child from getting sick.
It is well known that the rate of severe complications from flu and covid is very rare among children (according to Government own data). However, there have been instances alreadt when covid vaccines resulted in deaths of otherwise healthy children. Read, for example, the tragic story about Sean [link to article - pasted below]. There have been others, which you will not hear about on radio [link to www.whocantellmethetruth.ca].
So I thought you may find this important to know. Please share with others.”
What’s interesting is that when I tried to post this post, I first got this message:
which reminded me that we now live in a country where Bill C-11 is in Action. Canadian will have much less chance to read any independent, not funded by government, media.
Then, after I removed the link to the https://www.westernstandard.news/ and replaced it with the link to my substack, the post did go through. However, just a few minutes later, I got this message:
which reminded that full control of the narrative has been already working very well in our country, and with Bill C-11 it will work even better.
So that’s the new reality we have now to live in.
I did my best to provide you with the information that I believed was important for the well-being of your chidlren. Someone else removed it, and will keep removing it.
Now … Make your own decision, yourself. And don’t regret about making it later…

Dear Parents, Guardians and Caregivers,
As a parent, guardian, or caregiver, I know your children’s health and safety is your top priority. I want to take this opportunity to share some important information with you to help keep your children healthy throughout the school year.
Routine Childhood Vaccination
In Ontario, all children going to school need to be vaccinated against certain diseases. The vaccines are free and are given to your child to protect them from many diseases. Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, routine vaccination rates in Ottawa have decreased. That means there are many children and youth who are missing important vaccines they need to go to school. What can you do?
Check your child's vaccine record: compare the records you have with the Publicly Funded Immunization Schedule handout attached to this letter. This handout also lets you know how to report your child's immunizations.
Report your child’s vaccine(s) to Ottawa Public Health (OPH): it is possible that your child is up to date on their vaccines, but OPH might not be aware. Your health care provider does not report your child's vaccinations to OPH, so even if your child is up to date, OPH might not know.
If your child needs a vaccine: OPH is working with the Kids Come First Health Team and other partners to make it easier to get children vaccinated. For children who don’t have access to a regular health care provider, parents or guardians can book an appointment to review their vaccine record or to get a missing vaccine. Routine childhood vaccines are also offered on a walk-in basis at our Neighbourhood Health and Wellness Hubs. For more information about routine vaccines visit: ParentinginOttawa.ca/RoutineVaccination
Fall Vaccines (Flu and COVID-19) and Respiratory Illness Season
The flu vaccine is an important vaccine for children. The flu can make children very sick and even lead to serious illness. We expect this fall and winter to be challenging with many respiratory viruses circulating at the same time – like influenza (flu), respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), and COVID-19.
Based on flu activity in countries like Australia, where the season typically starts several months before our season, we expect an earlier flu season with more children getting sick and some needing hospitalization.
It is important to think ahead and be prepared for respiratory illness season. I am sharing two important handouts to help you in the months ahead:
1. The Where to seek care handout, endorsed by CHEO, will help you to plan ahead so that if your child gets sick, you know what you can do at home to help with symptoms. It will also help guide you about when and where to get help.
2. The About Respiratory Illness handout, will help you better understand how to protect your family against viruses, how to reduce the spread, what to do if you have symptoms, and where to get information on treatment.
Getting your vaccines this fall, like your annual flu vaccine and the updated COVID-19 vaccine, is the best way to protect yourself and your child from getting sick. Flu and COVID-19 vaccines are recommended for everyone 6 months of age and older. The flu vaccine and the updated COVID-19 vaccine will be available for people at greatest risk of becoming very sick such as people in hospitals and long-term care homes starting at the end of September. We expect flu and COVID-19 vaccines to become more widely available to other high-risk groups and the general population closer to mid to late October.
There are many options for getting your flu and COVID-19 vaccines:
• Check with your regular health care provider to see if they offer flu and COVID-19 vaccines; • Contact your local pharmacy to get your COVID-19 and/or flu vaccine(s);
• Book an appointment at an OPH Community Clinic; or
• Visit one of our Neighbourhood Health and Wellness Hubs, if you face barriers to access, for vaccines on a walk-in basis.
Thank you for taking the time to read this important information and taking the next steps to help protect you and your family this respiratory illness season. Staying up to date on routine vaccinations, getting your flu and COVID-19 vaccines this fall, and following important public health measures, like hand washing and staying home when sick, will help protect you, your family and others in our community.

Ontario man files $35.6 million lawsuit against Pfizer over son’s vaccine death
Published on :
16 Oct 2023, 8:03 pm
New Tecumseth, ON, resident Dan Hartman has initiated a wrongful death lawsuit against Pfizer because his son Sean died from the COVID-19 vaccine.
“On the morning of September 27, 2021, 33 days after receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination, Sean Hartman was found deceased in his bedroom by his mother,” said Sheikh Law lawyer Umar Sheikh in a court filing.
“The Plaintiff pleads that Sean Hartman died as a result of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination.”
Dan was denied money from the Vaccine Injury Support Program in March despite Sean dying after getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

“My son died 33 days after his first Pfizer vaccine and he was a perfectly healthy boy with no underlying conditions,” he said.
He took a COVID-19 vaccine to be allowed to play hockey. Dan said he took him to the emergency room four days after his first dose because he had brown circles around his eyes, a rash on his face and pain in his right shoulder.
American pathologist Dr. Ryan Cole determined in July Sean died from the COVID-19 vaccine.

Cole examined his tissues, finding spike protein in his adrenal glands.
“The adrenal glands control your blood pressure, so if Sean’s blood pressure dropped, he would have died,” said Dan.
“The adrenal glands control your blood pressure, so if Sean’s blood pressure dropped, he would have died,” said Dan.
Dan is seeking $35.6 million in damages; specialized damages to be determined prior to the trial; prejudgment and post-judgment interest; the costs of the proceeding, including all applicable taxes; and further relief the court considers just.
Sheikh said Pfizer “owed a duty of care to Sean Hartman to accurately inform him of all risks associated with the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination.” He added he owed him a duty to warn him of the risks associated with the safety and efficacy of these vaccines.
When it comes to the standard of care, Dan pleaded Pfizer breached it for the manufacturing, testing, sale, reporting and administration of its vaccines.
With the standard of care, Sheikh alleged it was breached when it disregarded and misrepresented the results of the safety trials by providing an incorrect characterization of the efficacy data; discounting results of adverse events on vaccinated people in the study; not highlighting all results and adverse events revealed in the studies conducted; and not stopping their administration on Canadians due to known safety concerns.
Dan pleaded Pfizer negligently misrepresented the safety of the vaccine and did not disclose the risks associated with it, which include but are not limited to myocarditis and pericarditis.
The particulars include failing to disclose people under 40 years old had an increased risk of myocarditis after taking the vaccine, rates of myocarditis were higher in adolescent males, inadequate testing was performed to ensure their safety and efficacy, failing to complete post-market surveillance and inform the Canadian government and the public of the results, failing to disclose the issues with the vaccine, and failing to identify, implement, and verify procedures to address post-market surveillance risks.
He accused Pfizer of improper product distribution when it was being sold. This is because the foreseeable risks exceeded the benefits associated with the product, it was more dangerous than ordinary consumers would expect, it did not have adequate, effective warnings and instructions over these dangers, inadequate testing and it was unfit for the purpose for which it was intended.
Sheikh concluded by saying Pfizer “concealed the fact the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccination had severe possible risks and outcomes when administered, including but not limited to myocarditis, pericarditis and death, to the public, healthcare providers, and regulatory authorities, including Health Canada.”
“The Plaintiff pleads that the wrongful death of his son Sean Hartman was caused by the negligence of the Defendant,” he said.
