My New Year Address is now on LinkedIn - with links and good book recommendation
Let's first find out how many of you are on LinkedIn. If you are, then you would know the kind of audience and the kind of posts that are there. If you are not, then it's sufficient to say that most government and government-funded employees are there, including those who signed letters of suspension and termination for many people who lost their jobs because of mandates…
So, here is the ‘New Year Address’ article that I posted on LinkedIn yesterday. If you have LinkedIn account, you can also read it at this link: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/new-year-address-all-canadians-dmitry-o-gorodnichy-jaxse/
For those who already watched / read my New Year Address (main Part & Addendum), please note my recommendation for a great book to read (“Vita Nostra”), which is added at the bottom of this article.
New Year Address to All Canadians
By DG
In Ukraine, we have a tradition to start a new year with an Address that will bring hope and vision for the coming year. Here's one from me - recorded in two parts.
French version is available in subtitles - Veuillez regarder avec les sous-titres (FR).
Links to the quotes mentioned in the Address are provided below.

For the book recommendation, which I mentioned in my Address, I suggest a book by Ukrainian authors, Marina and Sergey Dyachenko - "Vita Nostra". It was originally written in Russian and has then been translated in many languages and we have it in Ottawa Public Library.
I loved this book so much that l have re-read once again last year. I also happened to know personally Marina and Sergey. We were close friends back in Kyiv. Sadly, Sergey passed away a year ago, but I am still in touch with Marina, sharing life stories and thoughts about what is happening in our homeland Ukraine and elsewhere.
