The Ottawa Sun: fresh from the print today - on revelations from Public Order Emergency Act hearing
And some other news from my barber.
There was time this year when I had to cut on everything in my expenses, including my regular visits to my barber, a very gentle man with a subtle sense of humor who lived all his life in Ottawa, for last several years in in downtown Ottawa.
So, I have not seen him for almost a year. And it was very nice to see him again today and chat. So many things has changed since then. We are different people now, even though we may look the same.
We talked about Freedom Convoy - “Oh boy, they were very loud. But we need to thank them for opening our eyes what’s going on”. And then he told me about one of his clients - a young lad, who now comes with his mom on a wheelchair to get his haircut. It started this year, after he received the 3rd… They don’t know why and do all they can now - including some sort of plasma therapy, young lad’s mom was telling him, full of tears, the barber shared with me. So, I gave him my contact to pass it to them next time he sees them and a reference to the Statistics Canada excess mortality site that showed the significant increase in mortality among young Canadians starting from this winter.
Then we talk about POEC. And about CBC… And why he likes reading The Ottawa Sun. Indeed, while I was waiting in line, I had a chance to read the latest issue of The Ottawa Sun that was lying on his table, which had quite alot about POEC hearings.
I thought you may like reading it too, especially, if you still rely mainly on CBC for your news (which I know some of you do, based on the Poll results last week).
Here it is - For your reading pleasure and sharing with others!
PS.
Incidentally, as more and more Canadians get to see the lack of transparency and accountability in invoking the Emergency Act that is being exposed in the POEC hearings , CBC also had a special The Current episode this morning, dedicated to POEC hearing, where however they continued to glorify the decisions to invoke Emergency Act . No surprise however, if we recall that was them who started any-convoy propaganda even before they arrived to Ottawa, as was also revealed this week at POEC hearing (watch it here)
